Alright, you probably already heard of the “Gomper is Bill” theory. I didn’t really believe it myself until i came across this in the “Dipper and Mabel’s guide to mystery and nonstop fun” book. (Which was right after the “Sock puppets” page.)

In this part, Dipper aknowledges how suspicious Gompers is :

“Whenever i discover a mystery, the goat is always nearby, staring.”

^ I guess this speaks for itself, uh. But what really hit me was “He’s watching you…” Which is exactly what Bill said to Dipper by the end of “Sock Opera”. Bill is always watching, we know that. So why wouldn’t the goat be just another way for him to watch Dipper ? You must admit that it’d be a pretty funny plot twist while staying true to GF’s kind of humor.

Also, Gompers’ eyes look like horizontal Bill’s eye, but real life goats have the same kind of eyes, so i guess it’s not a real clue. Still, it reminds me of the yellowish eyes Bipper had…
